Thomas Bedorf is Professor of Practical Philosophy at FernUniversität in Hagen, co-founder of the Center for Political Phenomenology and its Senior Advisor. His research concerns political and social phenomenology, French philosophy and questions of alterity, institution and situatedness. His current research project examines the relationship between situation, historical conditionedness and political positioning.
